The Kyma team, with colleagues from both Italy and Slovenia, recently had the privilege of visiting Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste and FERMI, the free electron laser facility at Elettra.
It was a truly inspiring day. We explored the Insertion Devices Lab, discovered the research activities at Elettra, and had the unique opportunity to visit the FERMI beamlines and tunnel — one of the most advanced free electron laser facilities in the world. A special moment was seeing our own undulators up and running, a tangible sign of how our work supports world-class research.
A special thanks to Bruno Diviacco, Cristina Modolo, Carlo Callegari, Marco Zangrando, Michele Manfredda and Ilaria Carlomagno for their warm welcome and for sharing their passion and expertise with us.
Days like this remind us why we love what we do.
